Fleckvieh dual purpose: Breeding farm LFS PYHRA
The heart of the teaching and experimental farm of the educational center Pyhra is the dairy cattle barn with attached cattle mast. There are 60 high-performance Fleckvieh cows, 30 fattening bulls and the associated offspring kept. Education and training, as well as testing new knowledge of cattle breeding and dairy farming, are the top priorities in this barn. Modern milking, feeding and sensor technology to support herd management round out the equipment. Fleckvieh in all their strength can be seen in the training and experimental farm of the Pyhra Education Center.
